While there isn’t an exact age, Sala Family Dentistry recommends between the ages of 25 – 30. Ideally, before the wrinkles set in. Botox is more of a preventative measure than a fix.
It is ideal to start young when your wrinkles are dynamic instead of static to prevent the deep lines from being created.
Does getting botox hurt?
It is a small needle and feels like a bee sting. The actual putting in the botox does not hurt! Once it is done there is no pain.
How much does botox cost?
This ranges depending on where you go and your current need. The average cost here is $300-$500. It depends on how many units you get. This is customized to each individual.
At Sala Family Dentistry we charge $10/$12 per unit. It is $10.50/unit for Xeomin and $12/unit for Botox.

Yes, botox can help with frown lines! It can help to soften them by preventing the muscles from creating the movement that causes the from lines.
