DVO Reaper Madness is the finals for the DVO Winter Gravity Series. Series winners in all 3 disciplines will be awarded.Bootleg Canyon Mountain Bike Park is an extensive network of World Class Downhill and Cross Country mountain bike trails perfect for the serious competitor.

Story Time on the Train

Date: Apr. 16 at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm

Location: Nevada Southern Railway Museum, 601 Yucca St Boulder City, NV 89005

Story Time on the train on the Nevada Southern Railway. The kids enjoy a coloring page, craft and an age-appropriate story read by one of our docents.

Everyone rides the train from the depot to Railroad Pass and returns while enjoying the activities along with their parents and family. StoryTime is on each of the regular departures for the day.

Model Train Show

All aboard for the train show! Fun for the whole family, check out the train models and layouts, and more. Admission is free, but if you’d like to reserve a table, it is a $10 donation and you must reserve in advance.

Vegas Golden Knights Watch Parties

A variety of sports activities and games will be set up each day for your enjoyment. From kickball to tag, each day will be a new activity.

Archery Open Range

Date: Every Saturday (Apr. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30) from 8am – 1pm

Ages 5-17; $4/day
Ages 18+; $7/day

The range master facilitates safe archery target shooting through coordinated directions to groups wishing to practice their skills. Bring your own equipment (no broad tip arrows allowed) or rent it from us for $10 per hour or $20 per day.

Move & Groove Music Fest

Summer Camp Registration Opens for City of Henderson

The City of Henderson released its Spring and Summer Henderson Happenings brochure, the official guide for upcoming events, classes and activities. Registration opens Tuesday, April 5.

One of the highly anticipated programs for children three to 18 is the City of Henderson’s Summer Camps, designed to provide interactive and engaged learning during their summer break. Camp programs feature basketball, performing arts, outdoor activities, aquatics, and more in an upbeat atmosphere with convenient hours and locations throughout Henderson.

Trucks & Tunes

Date: Every second and fourth Tuesday (March to May; 11am to 2pm)

Enjoy delicious food from some of the valley’s best food trucks and listen to free, live music from a variety of local artists.

Paint & Pizza: Spring Has Sprung

Date: Apr. 8 from 5:30-9 pm

Location: Black Mountain Recreation Center & Aquatic Complex; 599 Greenway Rd. Henderson, Nevada 89015

A blank canvas awaits your child on this lovely night. Children can let their imaginations run wild and paint what they like or follow the night’s theme using a variety of painting utensils including brushes, glitter, and sponges. Dinner and supplies are included. Register at least one week in advance as space is limited. Ages 5-12

Free Ice Skating at Lifeguard Arena

Date: Apr. 10 from 5-7pm

Location: Lifeguard Arena; 222 S. Water St. Henderson, Nevada 89105

Lifeguard Arena (adjacent to the Water Street Plaza) is offering free public skate sessions to the community during these dates!

  • January 29 from 8 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • February 25 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • March 25 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
  • April 10 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

*Free skate promotion is available to first 200 guests who claim offer at Lifeguard Arena. Upon arriving and checking in at the counter inside Lifeguard Arena, guests will receive their liability insurance entrance ticket and a pair of rental skates (if needed). Free for all ages.

Silver Springs Festival

Date: Apr. 30 at 4-7pm

Location: Silver Springs Recreation Center; 1951 Silver Springs Pkwy. Henderson, Nevada 89074

Get out and get active this spring at our neighborhood festival. There are activities for the whole family including games, entertainment, local artists, and music.

Meet the Silver Spring staff and instructors and learn about the upcoming facility renovation plan.

Food trucks will be onsite to purchase refreshments.

Free admission with wristbands available for $3 that includes bounce house, popcorn, face painting and entry into the cake walk. Children 12 years and below must be accompanied by an adult.

Lunar New Year Exhibition

Date: Exhibit open through May 5

Location: ​​Clark County Library; 1401 E Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89119

This is the 12th year of this annual invitational exhibit which unites artists interested in exploring what the Lunar New Year of the Tiger means through their art. Artists are asked to investigate Asian Heritage and what the Tiger year means to Asian culture.

While some artists keep their visual ideas simple and others learn and incorporate complex Asian folk tales or stories in their art, artists also bring a mastery of technique and knowledge of the formal elements and principles of design to their art.

Vintage Market Days of Southern Nevada

Date: Apr. 8-10 from 10am – 5pm

Location: The Lawn at Downtown Summerlin

Vintage Market Days is an upscale vintage & vintage-inspired indoor/outdoor market, featuring original art, antiques, clothing, jewelry, handmade treasures, home decor, outdoor furnishings, consumable yummies, seasonal plantings, and a little more. The Market is a three-day event held two times/year! Each Vintage Market Days event is a unique opportunity for vendors to display their talents and passions in different venues throughout the country. The Market will also provide the customer with a very special shopping experience to both vendors and customers throughout the country!

Admission for children under 12 is free. Cash and credit card are accepted at the gate. Once purchased, your ticket is good for re-entry into the event all weekend.

2022 Las Vegas Bluegrass Festival

This event is outdoors with lawn seating. Bring lawn chairs or blankets for your comfort. Outside food and beverages not permitted in stage viewing area. Please no pets, service animals only allowed on festival grounds.

Paw Patrol Doggie Days

Bring the family dog, the kids and neighbors to join the city of Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Petco, The Animal Foundation, and Three Dog Bakery for refreshments, activities, and everything dog-related, including pet adoptions! Dogs must remain on a leash. This event is free and open to the public.


Pahrump Music Festival
