Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, a Local’s Review

The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is one of my favorite hidden gems in Las Vegas. Many do not know about it when they visit here – even the locals!

Each season, the enormously talented Horticulture and Engineering teams transform the 14,000-square-foot Botanical Gardens into a showcase of inspiring sights, sounds, scents and colors. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter are all featured—along with a special display for Lunar New Year. When the seasons change so do the displays. The talented Conservatory team changes out the design and also replants and repurposes as much of the living plant material as possible, further celebrating Mother Nature and our commitment to sustainability.

Tips for Your Visit

We’ve been visiting the Bellagio Conservatory for YEARS! Here are some things we’ve learned, especially when bringing the whole family.

Visit During the Weekdays

If your schedule allows, visit during the weekdays and preferably either before hotel check-out begins or before hotel check-in occurs each day. Why?

The conservatory & botanical gardens are located next to the hotel lobby and tend to get packed during this time. Even worse on the weekends as it is crowded and you really don’t get to enjoy the experience of this space.

Stroller & Babywearing Friendly

This experience is stroller and babywearing-friendly. We brought our Mockingbird stroller with zero issues, however, on the weekends when it’s more packed, it can feel like a nuisance.

While You’re There

While the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is a wonderful place, I wouldn’t recommend heading to the strip just to visit the Conservatory alone as it can be a bit of a headache to lug the entire crew out for less than 30 minutes.

Make a morning or afternoon out of it and check out:
