My Experience

Initially, I was really thrilled to connect with the owners at Clean Slate Med Spa for a complimentary Aerolase Express Facial with Dr. Lan. Overall, my facial was quick – in and out and fine. My appointment for the Aerolase facial was quick and painless, in and out within 30 minutes, I had zero downtime.

I appreciated that Dr. Lan is a double board-certified MD provider.

After just one treatment, I noticed an improvement in my skin’s texture and tone. I could totally see why this would be great to do before an event or vacation!

However, after our first couple of encounters, I felt like something was off with Clean Slate Med Spa. After recommending certain services to me like:

  • Aerolase Facial
  • Erbium Laser – on hands or chest as I was not a facial laser candidate
  • Korean Chemical Peel

While, we wanted to showcase their services to our audiences, we kept feeling like the push was always towards one of the most expensive offerings they had – the erbium laser treatment ($1000-1500+) and didn’t feel like it made sense to share that in the summertime as our audience is mainly moms who are outside running around with their kids and you cannot be in the sun afterwards.

After getting the aerolase facial and korean chemical peel recommended to me, one of the owners noted that “Dr. Lan felt pressured to provide procedures she was not comfortable doing for Kacey.” Which shocked us, considering she provided aerolase facial service and Stephanie McGarr (not listed on their website) provided the korean chemical peel service without hesitation.

That made us feel a bit uncomfortable and we lost some of our trust with Clean Slate Med Spa in regards to their service and professionalism and push to just sell laser services.

Do We Recommend?

After our final encounters with Clean Slate Med Spa, we cannot endorse or recommend them anymore.

We always recommend forming your own opinion on any business we share, but it’s important for us to only share businesses we would spend our hard earned money on and at this time, we would not.

We’d love to hear what your experiences have been at Clean Slate Med Spa with not only their offerings but customer service and professionalism. While our experience wasn’t the best, maybe yours was different?
