The parade in previous years has been about 15-20 minutes long. This year (2023), showtimes show 6:00-6:50pm.

They do have light-up toys for sale while you’re waiting prior to the parade start and you can purchase hot chocolate, coffee, or snacks from surrounding brick-and-mortar vendors.
Tips For Your Visit
Arrive Early
As the holidays approach, more and more people will be out and about. We recommend parking 40-45 minutes early and getting to your parade viewing spot at least 30 minutes prior to the parade start time.
We also recommend knowing where you are standing. The parade starts near the south end of Park Centre Drive, so we like to stand a little less than half-way down to enjoy ourselves and then get to leave before the parade fully finishes.
Grab Hot Chocolate and Coffee
They do not sell hot chocolate and coffee right at the parade, but you can support local vendors like Mothership Coffee, Makers and Finders, Starbucks (located in Macy’s), or bring your own!
Snacks
Kids can get antsy waiting for the Downtown Summerlin Holiday Parade to start (it was delayed when we went). Pack some snacks or some busy boards before you head to the downtown Summerlin holiday parade or grab a spot near Wetzel’s Pretzels!
Dress Warm
It can get pretty chilly, so bring a jacket, gloves, and even a blanket!
Buy A Light Up Necklace Beforehand
Stop by the Dollar Tree and grab some glow sticks or light-up necklaces beforehand if you don’t want to spend $4-6 for one there, plus you’ll save yourself a headache from the kids constantly asking you to buy one for them.
