Birds and more! Clark County Wetlands Park and Commissioner Jim Gibson present BioBlast. Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day and learn about the plants and animals of Wetlands Park. Visit Science Stations, where guest scientists and naturalists help you find and identify fish, bugs, plants, birds, and mammals. Experience live animal encounters with Wetlands Park Animal Ambassadors. The Nature Center will feature games and activities. Fun for all ages.

BioBlast is also part of the Las Vegas Science & Technology Festival being held on its Outdoor Explorers Day, April 29th.

Event partners include Las Vegas Wash Coordination Committee, Red Rock Audubon, Nevada Department of Wildlife,, and Wetlands Park Friends.

World Migratory Bird Day, coordinated by Environment for the Americas, celebrates and brings attention to one of the most important and spectacular events in the Americas – bird migration. More than 700 events and programs hosted annually throughout the United States, Mexico, Central America, and South America introduce the public to migratory birds and ways to conserve them.
