March Into Literacy with Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart on International Read To Me Day
March is National Reading Month, and March 19th is International Read To Me Day, join Meow Wolf to celebrate with a fun, free, family event Sunday, March 19th.
From 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. the Meow Wolf Las Vegas gift shop will play host to a storytelling event with the authors and illustrators of I Am Not OK (Juan Muniz of Ninobuni World art/lifestyle brand) and Go, Go, Greta books 1 and 2 (Dana Satterwhite and illustrated by Joseph Watson). Join us in AREA15’s “The Wall” space to hear the original books read by their authors and participate in activities including a book signing, coloring pages and fun photo opportunities.
The Ninobuni mascot, Felipe, will make a live appearance and be available for free photos and children can also contribute ideas for a live interactive illustration created by artist Joseph Watson.
This event is free and open to the public.
