We created a special Halloween puppet show with a custom puppet theater! We do one performance in the middle of each session. The different reactions from the kids so far are cracking me up! They either are smiling and dancing to the music, staring with a “I’ve never seen anything like this” face, or busting up with laughter.

This Halloween season, one of the creators from Bonnie Screams brings a chilling, new haunt experience. This headquarters, once owned by Old Man John Wooden, is said to have been swarmed by unrecognizable creatures that came out only in the dead of night. Slowly, these extraterritorials started to take over the old man’s mind, as well as his store.
One night, Old Man John Wooden was seen running from the building screaming he had been found! After 75 years, the building was overtaken and what remains inside is only known by those brave enough to enter.

33rd Annual Farm Fall Harvest Festival

Come and bring the kiddos and meet the Mounted Patrol of Boulder City Police Department, have some great food, play fun games and enter to win cool prizes. The walking dead return to Henderson for their second feeding, this year at Cornerstone Park. Celebrate the 10th Annual event with a new course that takes you beyond the park. Participants are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite Halloween garb or as a member of the undead. Souvenir cotton T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 300 participants. All fitness levels are welcome.
Escape Room Series: Goosebumps

Come on down to our annual family friendly festival. There will be free food items and refreshments that include popcorn and cotton candy. Other refreshments are available at a nominal fee.
Explore a variety of senior health and information booths, volunteer opportunities, safety information and free health screenings. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is not required and all ages are welcome.
Fall Festival Trunk or Treat

We expect an even bigger turn out this season. Each person who RSVPs will receive 5 FREE game tickets. We are asking families to not bring strollers if at all possible. Henderson’s premier safe trick-or-treating event returns for an evening of festive fun. Early purchased tickets will be available for pick up at Black Mountain Recreation Center October 23 and 24. Check the times posted on the night of the event for our costume contest. Come and join Whitney for a FREE fantastic event of free trunk or treat and a movie in the park on October 30! You’re encouraged to wear costumes and have a great time. Trunk or Treating will take place from 5:30-6:30pm and the movie will start at 6pm. Youth under 13 must be with an adult and bags aren’t provided.
HallOVeen at the Magical Forest

HallOVeen at the Magical Forest is a family-friendly Halloween experience benefitting Opportunity Village.
Haunted harvest managed to take over the 2.5-acre theme park, beckoning spooky creatures of all shapes and sizes. There you’ll meet many of them as you walk through a cemetery surrounded by hundreds of spooktacularly decorated trees and jack-o-lanterns. Friendly witches and ghosts excitedly await your arrival!
All the more fun in costume, Forest-goers can also enjoy funtastic rides, nightly entertainment, trick-or-treat stations, and midway carnival games. There’s also gifts, goodies and more at The Holiday Shoppe and our retail kiosk. Make a night of it and enjoy dinner with your family and one of our many food stations.
This is an outdoor event, so please dress for the weather. Box office closes 30 minutes prior to park closing. On Halloween night the park will close at 8:30 p.m.
