Okay, mamas, we’ve been asked a few times about a gift guide for teachers. So here we go – all of the teacher gift ideas that they really want.
Our teachers are amazing, bless them! My son’s preschool teacher is in charge of 9 BOYS and 3 girls…yes you read that right 9 preschool-aged boys! I can’t even imagine.
Our gift guide for teachers is pretty simple and after reaching out to a few teacher friends the consensus is straightforward. Gift cards.
Obviously, they will appreciate any gift and expect nothing! They can get a little overwhelmed with the amounts of scented hand soap and lotions they receive.
Instead of just handing over a gift card this year turn the gift card into a themed basket.
Teacher Gift Ideas: Gift Cards
Movie Night
Turn movie tickets into a movie night themed basket. Print off our movie night gift tag, gather a basket or large popcorn bucket, add in a Redbox or Galaxy Theatre gift card, popcorn, boxed candy, Red Vines, and some soda.

Manicure Gift Certificate
A gift card to the local nail salon. Who doesn’t enjoy a relaxing mani or pedicure? Spruce up the gift by adding in some nail polish, nail polish remover, a nail file, and body scrub or travel lotion. This nail kit would be a nice addition and it’s portable!

Starbucks or Support a Local Coffee Shop
For the coffee or tea lover, put together the ultimate basket for your child’s teacher! Add in our gift tag and a gift card to Starbucks or your favorite coffee shop.
Throw in a reusable cup or mug, some holiday coffee beans, some dark chocolate, trail mix or even some yummy hot cocoa packets.
Ice Cream Gift Card
Stores like Cold Stone and Menchie’s sell ice cream by the gallon. Along with the gift card to the local ice cream shop create an ice cream kit for them.
Include ice cream cones, caramel, fudge, sprinkles, nuts, and some candy pieces. Include this sundae gift tag with it!

Amazon Target Gift Card
Who wouldn’t enjoy an Amazon or Target gift card? In this themed basket I would hit up Bullseye’s Playground (formally the Dollar Spot) at your local store and fill it with goodies from there.
My favorites include candles, notepads, magnetic notepads, scarves, gloves and all the little decor nicknacks they have!
If you stick with Amazon, a cute notepad would be nice! Often times, Amazon prices are a little bit better and they can buy more items!
Teacher Gift Ideas That Aren’t Gift Cards
If you really want to give an actual gift then I suggest heading to a local store or boutique.
You can’t go wrong with anything from Larkellen Boutique in Reno. They sell an assortment of items including mugs, blankets, hats, and also have an assortment of Nevada themed items from local vendors
Some other favorites include:
- Prude & Boujee (Beauty & Skincare) | Show your Northern Nevada Mom sticker at checkout for 10% off your purchase!
- Moonlight Lace Boutique
- Home Means Nevada Co
- Wink Lash Studio & Bath Bar
There you go! I really love these gift themed baskets and can’t wait to get my son involved in putting one together for his awesome teacher!
What other teacher gift ideas would you suggest for teachers and caregivers?
