Infant and Child Swim Lessons

Teaching our kids how to safely swim and be around water is something we should all feel passionate about.  At one point or another, our kids are exposed to water. Between Wild Island, Lake Tahoe, or family vacations we encourage learning about water safety at a very early age.  

Thankfully there are several locations in Northern Nevada that offer swimming lessons for all ages and skill levels.

Reno

Water babies to tots, adult swim classes and even more intensive 5 day lessons to prepare for spring and summer activities.  They also offer lifeguard training and CPR/first aid Classes

Saint Mary’s Fitness Center

At Saint Mary’s Health and Fitness you can choose from private or semi private (2 swimmers) swim lessons. Lessons are offered for both adults and youth and each lesson is 30 minutes. Offered for members and non members.

At Red Hawk they offer seasonal swim lessons for members and non-members.  From 6 months on there is a class offered for all ages. Swim sessions are 2 weeks (8 classes) and range from 30 – 40 minutes.  They also offer private and semi-private lessons.

Swim lessons at Alf Sorensen are through the City of Sparks. Swim registration opens up February 4, 2019 and fills up quickly. They offer swimming lessons for both children and adults.
