Next up is wipes. Whether you have a baby or a toddler, wipes are a necessity. They can be used for diaper changes, messy hands and faces, and even spills. I prefer to use unscented wipes to avoid any potential irritation, and I always make sure to keep a full pack in my bag.

Hand sanitizer

Hand sanitizer is another item that I always keep in my bag. With germs lurking everywhere, having a quick and easy way to clean your hands is essential. I like to use a natural hand sanitizer that doesn’t contain harsh chemicals or fragrances.

Balm

Balm is also a must-have. Whether it’s lip balm or a multi-purpose balm, it’s important to keep your skin hydrated and protected. I like to use a balm from pipette that is clean of harsh chemicals.

Extra Clothes

Extra clothes are a must-have for any mom bag. Whether it’s a change of clothes for a messy baby or extra underwear for a potty-training toddler, having a spare set of clothes can save the day. I also like to keep a spare shirt for myself in case of any unexpected spills or accidents.

ProTip: Pack these in a gallon zip lock so you can swap out the messy clothes and have somewhere to store them.

Snacks

Snacks are another important item to keep in your mom bag. Kids always seem to be hungry, and having a quick and easy snack on hand can be a lifesaver. I like to keep a variety of snacks like granola bars, crackers, and fruit snacks in my bag.

Water

Water bottles are also a must-have. Staying hydrated is important for both you and your kids, and having a reusable water bottle on hand can save you from having to buy expensive bottled water. I like to keep a water bottle for each member of my family in my bag to ensure that we all stay hydrated throughout the day.

Notebook

A notebook and pen can also be useful to have in your mom bag. Whether it’s for jotting down a grocery list or a quick note to yourself, having a notebook and pen on hand can be helpful. I like to keep a small notebook and pen in my bag for this purpose.

A phone charger is also a must-have. With all the time we spend on our phones, having a charger on hand can be a lifesaver. I like to keep a portable phone charger in my bag so that I can charge my phone on the go.

First Aid Kit

Finally, a small first aid kit is also another mom bag essential important to have in your mom bag. While bandaids can solve many minor injuries, having a more comprehensive first aid kit can be helpful. I like to include items like antiseptic wipes, gauze, and medical tape in my first aid kit.
