Know Before You Go

Here is a quick run down of things to know before you go!

  •  It is loud! You definitely want noise cancelling headphones for kids and ear plugs for adults
  • VOTE! The audience is the judge. Go to and enter the code for your event!
  • Concession stand & souvenirs available
  • No outside food or drinks allowed
  • Unless your seating is standing general admission, we suggested not bringing a stroller. baby wear young kids if possible.
  • The event is approximately 2 – 2 1/2 hours. Not including the pit pass event.
  • It can be dusty as the trucks perform on dirt.
  • All fans age 2 and older are required to have a ticket.
  • It can get chilly, bring a sweatshirt or jacket to wear.

Jaw-dropping entertainment

Let’s be honest, those trucks are monsters. Seeing them launch through the air, crush cars like soda cans, and do donuts in dirt is simply awe-inspiring. My inner child was squealing with delight!

Family-friendly atmosphere

The whole event was geared towards families. From the pre-show meet-and-greets with drivers to the interactive games and activities, there was something for everyone to enjoy. My kids were glued to their seats, cheering their hearts out.

Unexpected learning

Okay, this one surprised me. Monster Jam wasn’t just about loud engines and mud spraying. The announcer did a great job of explaining the competition format, the different tricks, and even the engineering behind the trucks. My little gearheads were soaking it all in!

The price tag

Tickets are not cheap, especially for a family outing. Add in snacks, souvenirs, and parking, and it can become a hefty expense. My advice? Eat before you go, purchase some monster truck gear beforehand from target or Amazon!

The ear-splitting decibels

Bring earplugs for yourself and your little ones! Those engines are LOUD.

The long lines

Be prepared for some waiting, especially at concessions and restrooms. Pack your patience and maybe a few fun games to keep the kids occupied.

Overall Verdict

Monster Jam is a wild ride, literally and figuratively. It’s not for everyone, but for adventurous families looking for a unique and exciting experience, it’s definitely worth a try. If your kids like monster trucks then it is a must at least once! Just remember, earplugs are essential and snacks are key!
