Boulder City

Boulder City Wine Walks

Date: Nov. 13 from 4pm – 8pm

Location: Historic Boulder City, Boulder City, NV 89005

Stroll the historic downtown Boulder City streets and shops while sampling a variety of wines. The theme for this wine walk is Glow Walk!

DVO Coyote Classic Cross-Country

Date: Nov. 20 at 9am and 1pm

Location: Bootleg Canyon Mountain Bike Park, 900 Canyon Road Boulder City, NV 89005

The Race the Face Enduro is a 2-day Enduro event. Enduro races have multiple stages and only the downhill sections are timed. Riders will race 3-stages all down the legendary face of Bootleg Canyon. These are some of the same trails used in the downhill races.

Storytime on the Train

Date: Nov. 20 at 10am & 12pm

Location: Nevada Southern Railway Museum, 601 Yucca St Boulder City, NV 89005

StoryTime on the train on the Nevada Southern Railway. The kids enjoy a coloring page, craft and an age-appropriate story read by one of our docents.

Everyone rides the train from the depot to Railroad Pass and returns while enjoying the activities along with their parents and family. StoryTime is on each of the regular departures for the day.

Boulder City Santa Express

Date: Nov. 26 and 27 at 5:15pm, 6:45pm, and 8:25pm

Location: Nevada Southern Railway Museum, 601 Yucca St Boulder City, NV 89005

Enjoy a train ride with Santa and Mrs. Claus, all through December. Each event is a 90-minute experience with a train ride in a vintage, restored railcar with storytime on the train, including time at our event center to visit Santa and enjoy hot chocolate and a cookie, by Chilly Jilly’z.

Henderson

Park Pals

Date: Every Monday and Wednesday from 3-5pm and Nov. 27 from 10am-noon (Nov. 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29)

Location: Morrell Park, 500 Harris St.

A variety of sport activities and games will be set up each day for your enjoyment. From kickball to tag, each day will be a new activity.

Friday Night Music Series

Date: Every Friday from 6-8pm (Nov. 5, 12, 19, 26)

Location: Along Water Street in Downtown Henderson

Enjoy musical entertainment along Water Street. Take a stroll, grab a beverage or bite to eat and enjoy free, live music.

Great Las Vegas Taco Festival & Car Show

Date: Nov. 5-7 from 6-9pm

Location: Craig Ranch Regional Park; 628 W Craig Rd, North Las Vegas, NV

The event will be filled with 25+ of the Valley’s best Taco shops and trucks for the ultimate Taco experience. Not to mention the array of entertainment for festival-goers.

28th Annual Holiday Cactus Garden Lights

Date: Nov. 5, 2021 – Jan. 2, 2022 from 5 – 10pm

Location: 2 Cactus Garden Drive, Henderson, NV 89014

Make a reservation for the Holiday Cactus Garden Lights at Ethel M Chocolates – grab a cup of one of the best hot chocolates, and stroll through the 3-acre cactus garden with over a million lights twinkling as you make your way through.

Stop by Santa to snap a photo with him and tell him all of your holiday wishes and then pop back into their store to grab some chocolate goodies to-go. Donations will go to Three Square Food Bank and HELP of Southern Nevada.

Festival of Lanterns

Date: Wednesday – Sunday starting Nov. 5, 2021 – Feb. 2022 from 5 – 9pm

Location: Cowabunga Bay; 900 Galleria Drive, Henderson, NV 89011

Come, immerse yourself in the beauty and glow of handcrafted Chinese Lanterns that light up the nights during the Festival of Lanterns at Cowabunga Bay in Henderson. November is Fall Harvest theme and December is the Holiday Celebrations theme.

Veterans Day Ceremony 2021

Date: Nov. 6 at 10am

Location: Water Street Plaza Amphitheater

Join city leaders, veterans and their families at the City of Henderson’s annual Veterans Day Ceremony.

The event pays tribute to our patriots and military heroes and includes a presentation of the names being added to the Henderson Memorial Wall, recognition of veterans’ organizations, presentation of colors and a special musical performance by the Henderson Symphony Orchestra.

Trucks and Tunes

Date: Nov. 9 and 23 from 5 – 8pm

Location: Water Street Plaza

Join us for food trucks and live music along Water Street! Spend your lunch enjoying live music and delicious food every 2nd and 4th Tuesday through November.

American Indian Heritage Celebration 2021

Date: Nov. 13 from 10am – 5pm

Location: Water Street Plaza

A tribute to Native American culture through immersive live music, storytelling and traditional dance. Don’t miss a special performance by acclaimed singer/songwriter Martha Redbone, who the Huffington Post calls “an organic, gorgeous feast for ears and minds” and “a brilliant collision of cultures” by the New Yorker. This event is open to all ages.

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at The Village at Lake Las Vegas

Día de Muertos is back at the Springs Preserve, Nov. 5-7! Celebrate life at our outdoor, family-friendly Day of the Dead festival.

This centuries-old celebration—rooted in Latin American cultures—honors loved ones through colorful and joyous traditions. Our event blends rich customs with exciting activities for all ages such as live theater and dance performances, music and mariachis, entertaining games, arts and crafts, food vendors, and much more.

Harvest Brunch & Dance Party

Date: Nov. 6 from 9-11am

Location: The Movement Dance Experience; 4285 N Rancho Dr, Ste 120, Las Vegas, NV 89130

Our Harvest Brunch and Dance party is for kids ages 18 months and up. We will be having a harvest-themed brunch, dance party, and crafts!

Paws in the Park

Join Councilman Richard Cherchio in the Park this Sunday at Aliante Nature Discovery Park! Bring your four-legged friends and join us for this free event.

Paws in the Park will feature a dog costume contest and pawrade, dog demos, photo booth, raffles, vendors, exhibits and more! Please note, all dogs must be on a leash.

2021 Vegas Valley Cosmic Book Festival

Glittering Lights

Glittering Lights is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit with this drive-thru attraction.

If you love holiday lights, drive through approximately 2.5 miles of lights, millions and millions of twinkling lights, making for a great holiday experience for family and friends.

Jupiter Express Holiday Train

Date: Nov. 12, 2021 – Jan. 2, 2022

Location: The Lawn at Downtown Summerlin

Take a ride on the Jupiter Express Holiday Train featuring real steam, lights and good old-fashioned fun as the train strolls around the 40-foot holiday tree for an unforgettable experience for the kids. Cost is $4 per train ride.

The Rock Rink Ice Skating

Date: Nov. 12, 2021 – Jan. 17, 2022

Location: The Lawn at Downtown Summerlin

Downtown Summerlin is pleased to announce the return of Rock Rink! – the signature 8,000 square foot real-ice skating rink located near The Pavilion at The Lawn.

Skate under the stars set to the backdrop of festive holiday music and an impressive 40-foot glittering holiday tree overlooking the rink. Skate rentals start at $16, and all ages are welcome.

Vintage and Craft Festival

Date: Nov. 14 from 10am – 4pm

Location: Tivoli Village, 400 S. Rampart Blvd. Las Vegas, Nevada 89145

LV Craft Shows is presenting a Vintage and Craft Fest at Tivoli Village. Come out and spend the day shopping for vintage, tasty food items and handmade crafts. This event is outdoors and admission is free.

 

The Ice Rink

30th Annual Magical Forest

Date: Nov. 26, 2021 – Jan. 2, 2022 starting at 5pm

Location: 6300 West Oakey Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89146

The Magical Forest is a winter wonderland with millions of sparkling lights, exciting rides, great food and endless holiday cheer.

They have a forest of gorgeously decorated trees to walk through, a train ride and lots of treats to indulge in.  The Magical Forest is a festive, all-ages theme park right here in Las Vegas. It is an outdoor event so be sure to dress warmly.

Enchant Christmas Village

Date: Nov. 26, 2021 – Jan. 2, 2022

Location: 1650 South Pavilion Center Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89135

The Enchant adventure includes an Ice Skating Trail, a locally curated Christmas Market, an opportunity to meet Santa and a world of Christmas wonder awaits as you enter the custom-designed, 90,000 square foot light maze.

You will be transported to a living storybook of larger-than-life, stunning light sculptures and decadent delights as snow falls gently all around you.
