Tips for Your Visit
If you’re headed to Parade of Mischief, be sure to read the tips below to make your family’s experience better! We’ve been going to the parades Downtown Summerlin puts on for a few years now and this is what we’ve learned (although things can change each year).
- Get there early for a good spot! I like being towards the beginning of the parade so we can start heading out once the last float passes. Pres-show starts at 5:45.
- The dancers stop at certain sections for their choreography and if you aren’t right in front of that section, you don’t get to see their dance – so keep that in mind. They do still walk by you.
- This year, the parade is approx. 30 minutes long and starts at 6pm (not like previous years).
- Stroller and wagon friendly, although if you want a good spot, get their early and you can bring your own chairs or blanket (we do not bring chairs/blanket, but lots of people do!)
- Grab a bite before or after around the area. If you want a coffee or hot cocoa, swing by Mothership or Makers & Finders.
