20 Phone Apps We Love
Baby & Kid Apps
Huckleberry
If you’re a first-time mama or a Type A mama who likes to see the data – the Huckleberry app is my best friend. I can track exactly when my baby eats and sleeps, which side I fed him on last, when his nap windows are based off of the last couple of weeks, his growth, etc.
It gives me peace of mind and also is nice to have when I have help around.
The Wonder Weeks
Okay, I don’t use this app religiously, but I did add the start of new “leaps” to my calendar so I wouldn’t get frustrated when my little guy started to have super fussy days. It’s also interesting to see what new skills he may start showing.
Cash Back Apps
When you have children, it can sometimes feel like you are constantly spending money, which is why I love using these apps that give me cash back.
I’ve been using most of these for years (I use to be a hard core couponer – with my own stockpile!). Although my stockpile has dwindled over the years and is focused more on clean ingredient and natural products, I still am able to use many of these apps to get money back on things I would normally buy!
Ibotta
This app has evolved so much over the years and it’s the place where I have found some of my favorite food items like Olipops, Chomps, Simple Thins, etc.
You can get money back just by submitting your receipt from the grocery store sometimes. I try to check this app before I go to the store to match up items on my grocery list and a lot of times the item is on sale at the store, plus I get cash back. They also have free items you can shop for as well. I’ve gotten over $400 back since using them.
You can use my referral code ‘th9myq’ when you sign up. Sign up here.
Fetch
If you shop ANYWHERE, you’ll want to download Fetch.
You snap a picture of any receipt and you automatically earn points. There are some brands out there that offer bonus points for purchasing select items or brands (and changes often). Once you rack up enough points, you can cash out to gift cards for places like Amazon, Ulta, Walmart, Chipotle, Dunkin’, and more. I have over 35,000 points which translates to a $35 gift card. You can also earn money for digital purchases.
Upside
We ALL buy gas – unless you’ve got an electric vehicle. So why not get some cash back from the money you’re already going to spend?
We love using Upside when we purchase gas. We typically get anywhere from $0.01-0.15 back PER GALLON, which adds up quickly. While the gas stations and offers change, it’s so easy to snap your receipt and watch that money add up. I’m at $25 already and can cash out for money or gift cards. You can also double-dip and use this receipt in the Fetch App!
In the Upside App, you can earn cash back on select restaurants you eat at as well. For us, we’ve only done this a couple of times, but it’s been nice to see the money come right back to me.
Use promo code 9V46W to get an extra 15¢/gal bonus the first time you make a purchase.
Store Apps
Depending on where you shop, we highly recommend getting the store app that is connecting to your loyalty account. There are typically app-exclusive coupons and offers. Our favorites are Target, Amazon, Ulta, Sephora, and CVS.
Bonus: Many of these offer curbside pickup!
Health Apps
Better Together
After the holidays, a handful of members in my family decided to join in on a challenge to lose weight and live healthier lifestyles. We use this app to track ourselves and each other to see who’s hitting the weekly goals and also keeps us accountable.
The winner takes home over $300 and right now the person at the top of the leaderboard has lost almost 30 pounds since Jan.
Bobby Approved
The Bobbyapproved Flav City app is designed to help individuals make informed choices about the food they eat. He reviews foods based on his standards and will mark items as either Bobby approved or not. I love this when I am trying to avoid unnecessary preservatives, oils, or other additives that are on our food. I love that if an item isn’t approved he gives similar suggestions that are approved by him.
Lose It!
If you like to track your meals – macros, calories, etc. this is for you! I used a similar app to this one when I lost 35 pounds before getting pregnant with my little guy.
It played a huge role in changing our lifestyle a couple years ago. I still use it to this day – just not as frequently – to track my protein, sugar intake, etc.
Switch Natural
I’ve tried many apps for healthier or cleaner swaps and Switch Natural is prob my top favorite. A few reasons why I love it – it was created by an influencer focused on cleaner swaps, it focuses on ingredients versus barcodes, and brands cannot pay to have ingredients omitted.
Scan any product to find out which ingredients are toxic–no bar code necessary. Learn why an ingredient is toxic with the links to the research behind it. Find truly non-toxic and effective alternatives to conventional products. Search by product type, category, or brand.
It does cost $20 initially, but after following along on Instagram for a while, I think it is well worth it.
Yuka
The Yuka app helps me make healthier choices when it comes to personal care products they use. By scanning barcodes or searching for products, the app analyzes the ingredients and rates them based on their potential health risks. Yuka also provides alternative product suggestions!
I always recommend double-checking the ingredients listed on the app with the product as sometimes they have errors, but I have submitted a few and they have been corrected within 48 hours.
Fitness Apps
Sweat
I love to use the Sweat app. I love that it has a wide range of workouts and fitness programs that can be tailored to my specific needs and goals. It allows moms to easily navigate through various exercise routines, track progress, and stay motivated with the help of a supportive community. Additionally, the app’s convenient scheduling and reminder features make it easy for busy moms to incorporate their workouts into their daily routine!
Ladder App
The ladder app is a bit of a splurge if you ask me but if you work out at home and want to switch up your routine I have enjoyed this app. The app provides instructional videos, voice-guided workouts, and personalized coaching to ensure that moms get the most out of their workouts.
YouTube
Probably my favorite workout app and bonus its FREE! I love that I can easily find exercise videos ranging from yoga to cardio, strength training, and more.
You can easily access and follow workout routines from professional trainers and fitness enthusiasts. Two of my favorite channels are Caroline Garvin (she is also releasing an app soon!) and Juice and Toya.
Lifestyle Apps
Spotify
The Spotify app is a great tool for us moms because it provides easy access to a vast library of music, podcasts, and audiobooks that can be enjoyed while performing all the tasks.
Additionally, I love how the app’s offline playback feature allows us to listen to our favorite content without having to worry about internet connectivity, making it a convenient option for us busy mamas on the go.
Shopping Apps
Like to Know. it
If you’ve been following us for a while now, you know we try to share items with you that you can easily shop for – like this white eyeliner we sold a bunch, the infamous Stanley cup, and some of our favorite snack items.
If you want first dibs to see those items before social media, we always share them on this app first. You can follow us there and you can also search for items you’re looking for that we may or may not have already shared.
Amazon
I feel like this one’s a no-brainer – especially for our breastfeeding or on-the-go mamas. While I won’t admit how much I shop on there, I love the fact that I can easily shop for something and have it delivered same-day or within a couple of days.
Plus, we have a Nevada Moms Storefront on there where you can shop our favorite picks right in the app.
You can get a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime here. If you are a student, you can get 50% off an Amazon Prime membership, here.
Thrive Market
I use the Thrive Market app about 2x a month! It offers a convenient way for me to shop for healthy, organic, and non-toxic products for my family.

Bible for Kids
The Bible App for Kids offers an engaging way for my kids to delve into the significant narratives of the Bible through interactive journeys and visually appealing animations! Kids can select a story to be read in the app and each story has interactive activities and activity at the end.
YouVersion Bible
The YouVersion Bible app is a valuable resource for moms who want to incorporate daily Bible reading and study into their busy schedules. With a variety of translations and reading plans available, I love that I can customize my Bible study experience to fit my preferences and needs. Additionally, I love how the app’s community feature lets me connect with other believers, share my thoughts and insights, and even complete plans together.
Communication
Marco Polo
I love how the Marco Polo app allows me to stay in touch with family and friends through video messaging! It’s like texting but through video! The app is a convenient way to share updates, stories, and important moments with loved ones, especially those who live far away!
