Red’s Old 395 Grill

Walking into this Carson City establishment founded in 2000 will take you back in time. Inside, the restaurant is full of old wooden buggies hanging from the ceiling, antiques, art and a 1920’s New York steamroller greets you as you arrive inside. Not only is the decor eye catching, but the food is as well.

The extensive menu features something for everyone, especially the kids. The children’s menu has options like ribs, fish and chips, flat iron steak and a juicy burger.

All items are large portions. If you have younger kids with you, one entree will suffice. For the adults, the wings are always on point and the BBQ as well. There is plenty of seating which includes a cozy outdoor patio. In addition, free kids coloring activities, high chairs and booster seats make this restaurant on the top spot of family-friendly options.

Formerly known as The Union, this busy dining spot boasts plenty of room for the whole family and outdoor seating. There are many starters to choose from if the kiddos are super hungry and the kid’s menu delivers large portions.

The pizzas can be shared with the whole family and they are made right in the restaurant’s own pizza oven. The vibe is chill and on some nights, live music can accompany the dining experience.

They provide coloring sheets and crayons for kids and plenty of the kid/baby-friendly aspects of the restaurants mentioned previously.

Kei Sushi

This brand new family-friendly restaurant transports you straight to music city! The menu is packed with southern favorites, which includes a children’s menu. There is even a Sunday brunch with a Maple Bourbon Bacon Benedict and Creme Brulee french toast.

The lunch and dinner menu introduces you to “chow chow” which consists of chopped & pickled green tomatoes, cabbage, onions, peppers & spices. Check out the live music on the Soft Note Stage or the Swan Music hall for dinner and a show!

The Fox Brewpub
