Farm festivals and U-Pick Sunflowers! Need we say more. There are a few farms locally that are offering some fun activities the next few weekends!

Date: August 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20

Location: Andelin Family Farm

The Sunflower Festival Admission ticket includes a wagon ride to the sunflower field, visiting and seeing the farm animals, the kitten barn, barrel train ride, hamster wheel, straw bale maze, mini zips, big slide, duck race activity, and other barnyard activities and access to the sunflower field.

The Sunflower field is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays too but admission is offered to only the sunflower field.

Dates: August 25th – August 31st

Cost: $3 entry fee / $2-$3 per flower

U-Pick sunflowers and check out the farm animals! Open daily from 10am-5pm. Bring your own sheers.

Tips

Get up and go, get there first thing in the morning, or during lunch hour. We have found these times to be the least crowded.
Be prepared for dust/dirt as farms are pretty dusty.
Bring layers, the farms are located in open areas, so it can get windy! You never know with our weather
Lastly, take pictures! You’ll enjoy looking back and remembering this busy season!
