Thank YOU for Supporting 1st Annual Donation Drive [Breakdown]
“Helping one person may not change the world, but it could change the world for one person”
In case you missed it, during the month of July we hosted our first annual donation drive benefiting the Women and Children’s Center of the Sierra (WACCS).
You can learn more about the drive, here, but we wanted to share the numbers with you as this was a community effort!
Donation Drive Goals
As parents, we know that it takes a village. Every year, WACCS supports families in our community, but they also need support to be able to help them. That’s where we came in this year.
- 200 Backpacks Filled
- $500 Worth of Diapers
How We Did
Thank you for making our first drive a success! With the help from our #NevadaMoms community – including physical and monetary donations, plus the support of our sponsors we are able to help so many families!
You know how important transparency is to us, so we want you to know exactly what we were able to donate. Here is a breakdown of what was donated.
P.S. We almost hit our goals! We surpassed the $500 diaper goal but fell slightly short on the backpack goal. We could only get our hands on 107 backpacks, but we are definitely able to fill around 200 total depending on the grade levels of students.
