What You’ll Experience

Super Human features 23 unique experiences that explore the relationship between our biology and the tools we create. Here are just a few things you can try:

  • Lift like a superhero with an upper-body exoskeleton
  • Experience night vision and explore how humans can see in the dark
  • Control a computer with your brain (seriously!)
  • Design and test your own camouflage
  • Fly (virtually!) using a jetpack simulator
  • Step inside a wind tunnel to learn how air and motion affect the body

Each activity is hands-on and designed to spark curiosity, whether your kids are into science or love trying new things.

Age Recommendations

Super Human was designed for ALL ages!

Whether you’re a family with littles or you have middle schoolers ready to dig into STEM topics, there’s something to explore together.

Our Experience

We’re always looking for ways to make learning exciting—and this exhibit nails it. From futuristic tech to real-world problem solving, Super Human encourages kids to think big and imagine what’s possible when we mix creativity with science.

Our team member Candice recently visited the exhibit with her curious three-year-old in tow. They spent about 15–20 minutes exploring Super Human, and while it was the perfect dose of hands-on fun for a toddler, Candice noted that older kids would definitely stay longer—there’s so much to see and try!

Their favorite part? The running challenge where you race against the fastest human—so fun for kids with lots of energy!

It’s also just really fun. Think: less reading signs and more jumping in to do the science yourself.

Tips for your Visit

Bring a Snack or Lunch

You can bring your own food to the museum. They have tables inside the entrance where you can sit and eat. It’s a good idea to have some yummy snacks or a packed lunch to keep you all energized during your visit.

Stroller and Babywear Friendly

The museum is both stroller and babywearing friendly.  They have an elevator if needed since the museum is 2 stories.

Take Your Time

The museum has lots of fun and interesting exhibits for you to discover. Take your time to explore and learn about different topics like science, art, and history.

My kids always want to race from one room to the other but I encourage them to take time in each room since we have a membership and can always come back.

Ask Questions

If you have any questions about what you see or want to know more about something, don’t be shy! There are staff members around who can help answer your questions and provide more information! I always encourage my kids to ask their questions to the staff.

Participate in Activities

The Discovery often has special activities or workshops that you can join. These might include art projects, science experiments, or games. Look at their schedule and try to plan to attend during those times.

Summer Camps

If you are interested in their summer camps, make sure to set an alarm and sign up right away.  They are very popular and fill up fast every year!
