Ethel M Chocolate Factory & Botanical Cactus Garden

This local chocolate factory is the spot to check out if you have sweet tooth lovers in the family.

Not only can you check out a local family operation, but you can enjoy experiences like their premium chocolate and wine tastings, self-guided factory viewing aisle, our three-acre cactus garden, and our gourmet gift shop. During select seasons they also decorate the garden.

Natural History Museum

Pinball Hall of Fame

The Pinball Hall of Fame is 10,000 square feet of pinball machines from the 1950’s to the 1990’s. It’s free to enter, but you’ll want to bring a lot of quarters with you to have some fun while the kiddos do the same.

Springs Preserve

Hoover Dam

Location: Visitors Center – 81 Hoover Dam Access Rd, Boulder City, NV 89005

Hoover Dam is located approximately 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas, on the Nevada-Arizona border. Enjoy a self-guided tour, rent a jet ski, and soak in the size of this beautiful dam.

Mt. Charleston

Location: 1650 South Pavilion Center Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89135

Take a trip to Mt. Charleston for a wonderful day trip with the family. Take your favorite lunch for a family picnic, go on a hike, or head up to Lee Canyon for sledding, snowboarding, and skiing. During the holidays, there is even more fun at Mt. Charleston.

National Parks

Take a day trip to a National Park located near us. You can visit spots like Red Rock Canyon, Death Valley, Lake Mead, Valley of Fire, Zion National Park, and the Grand Canyon.
