Tips For Your Visit
Check out our tips below for your visit so you can have the best visit to the Waterpark at Wild Island.
- Safety first! They have lifeguards but please be sure to watch your kids around the water
- First Aid station is located in the back on the right of the wave pool
- Earlier in the week is usually less busy, plan on heavy crows during the weekend
- Enjoy a family game of volleyball.
- The cement can get hot so water shoes are nice to have.
- Get in line early around 10:30am or go later after 2pm to find some shade.
- Season passes sale out every year, buy early if you are interested.
- Food lines get long during lunch hour, order via phone early/later
- Gluten free fries!! New last year, if your GF like me this is very exciting! If the person taking your order doesn’t know ask for a manager or supervisor and they can get them for you.
- Height Check – If your child is likely to get measured at the slides, go to the main waterpark office and request a height check. If they meet the height requirement the manager will give them a wristband (at the managers discretion).
- On crowded days, we recommend renting a tube for slides rather than waiting for a free one to come available.
- Bring your own life jacket (coast guard approved) if you have one for easy and quick use! They have them available for free if needed as well.
Our Experience
We have been going to the waterpark at Wild Island since my oldest was 18 months! It is easy to say it is a summer tradition for our family. It has been been so much fun to watch my kids every Summer grow into new experiences. Sometimes we spend 2 hours and some days we spend 6.
The area for younger kids is perfect for ages baby-7. My kids are just now tall enough to go on some of the bigger water slides but we enjoyed so many seasons in that area.
I recently saw some local mamas go to the waterpark for a moms night out and I think that sounds like such a fun idea, it would also be a fun date night!
I definitely recommend every experience Wild Island Waterpark to see if it is an activity your family loves as much as mine!
