Wonder and Unwind, a Local Mom’s Review

A developmental play center where kids can play and explore and the parents can relax in a lounge…it almost sounds too good to be true! But that is exactly what Wonder and Unwind goal is!

I’ve had the opportunity to visit Wonder and Unwind a few times now and am happy to share my experience and review on this new indoor play center for young children. Here’s my Wonder and Unwind review.

What Is Wonder and Unwind?

So what exactly is Wonder & Unwind? This was a question I had before visiting! I couldn’t quite understand the concept.

In summary, Wonder and Unwind is a new indoor play center for children 6 and under.  It focuses on age-appropriate unstructured play. The center has 4 different rooms (nursery, science, indoor playground, and quiet room).

Each room supports the development of fine and gross motor, sensory processing, and social-emotional!

Parents are able to relax in the parent lounge with their children are exploring the rooms and being supervised for Wonder and Unwind staff.

My Experience

We enjoy our time at Wonder and Unwind.  My kids love exploring and playing in each of the 4 rooms and the staff is really engaging with them.

Parents have the option to engage with them in the rooms or they can sit in the lounge.  I find myself doing a little of both.  Since the children are able to roam from room to room I do prefer to keep an eye on my youngest two children.

I do feel comfortable allowing my 6-year-old to freely move from room to room,  I do prefer to keep an eye on my youngest two children.

Tips For Your Visit

To get the most out of your visit to Wonder and Unwind, definitely go with some mama friends or plan more than a few hours out of it as it can get pricey. With the new prices for a family with three kiddos like mine, your $75 out the door and that doesn’t include any food or snacks.

Here’s what some of our families in our private Facebook group are saying:

I had my son’s 3rd birthday party there and it was fantastic! – Katie C.

It’s a great little place for kids to play! – Maranda M.

We truly do love our time at Wonder and Unwind and think it is a wonderful place for both children and caretakers!
