Teeth Whitening with Smile Brilliant Review

When Smile Brilliant reached out to us to see if we were interested in reviewing their teeth whitening kits, we were very skeptical. With so many DIY teeth whitening kits on the market with several that don’t offer the results some people expect to see – did we really want to try it?

But when you drink a whole lot of wine and coffee daily, it only made sense for us to test Smile Brilliant ourselves and give an honest review about it.

The Whitening Process

To be honest, the process was the only thing that really bothered me. Not that it was complicated, but it just felt like it dragged on or I completely forgot on some days! We really wanted to try this for 30 days to ensure our review was completely truthful and honest.

We’ve heard and seen great results with only 2-3 weeks of using this kit, though!

If you have a jam-packed schedule like me, I highly recommend these tips:

Set a reminder to whiten. (It can be so easy to forget!)
Read the steps carefully the first time, so then you don’t have to spend time re-reading!
Let your trays air dry before you close the containers (this was a personal preference).

Smile Brilliant really makes it easy to get your teeth whitened at home. My teeth are not overly sensitive, but they do have a sensitivity to them, so I chose to whiten every other day. There were a few days that I forgot to whiten, but I still saw results over the course of a month.

Here are some pros and cons of Smile Brilliant:

Pros

Instructions were clear, simple, and easy to follow.
I started seeing results within a week using it every 1-2 days!
If you forget a day or do it every other day, you will still see results. At least I did!
The at-home whitening kits are affordable!
If you have veneers, caps or crowns, those will not whiten – but it will not damage the work.

Cons

Being consistent for 30 days can be difficult.
The time commitment each session was a little longer than I expected at first, but whiter teeth doesn’t happen in a couple of minutes!

Results

We began to see results after the first week of using the kit. I highly recommend the sensitive kit if you have any sensitivity at all! No issues whatsoever for me!

Here are our before (top) and after (bottom) photos. My husband, Kit, definitely saw a more visible result than I did. I think it is because he drinks two cups of coffee daily as well as wine weekly.

I am not a huge coffee or wine person, so my results were a little less visible to the public eye, but very visible to me since I know my teeth!
