Kids Schedule During COVID-19 + Printable

We did it, guys! We survived week 1 of #StayHomeForNevada. I know this is not the Spring Break any of us imagined, but I also know that we are all doing our best to make it fun for our kids.

Going into this, I knew that we needed some sort of routine.  I found some schedules online and altered it to fit my family! I know not everyone wants to have a schedule, but my family thrives on routine.  Especially my 6-year-old!

If your family is like us then having a schedule is key! I’m sharing the schedule we have been using.

Some tips:

  • Be flexible! This is just a helpful guide and if it doesn’t work out every day that’s okay!
  • Get dressed! Yes, pajama days are fun, but I also think that getting dressed (yes workout clothes count!) can help create a sense of normalcy
  • Craft/activities can be simple! Baking, playdough, yoga, building with legos, school work, etc.
  • Facetime friends and family! Schedule virtual coffee dates.
  • Check out this post for activities and craft ideas!
  • During nap/quiet time plan something for YOU! Shower, read, workout, catch up on This Is Us.

This Too Shall Pass

Remember this is just a moment in our life.  We are staying at home to protect those we love and to help flatten the curve. One day we will look back and remember this time in our life.  Make the most of it! Laugh, snuggle up and watch a movie, or have a dance party!
