New Year’s Eve Home Ideas
How will you be ringing in the New Year this year? Maybe you’ve decided to stay in on this holiday to avoid the crowds and traffic. If so, here are a few ideas you might love!
HOST A BINGO PARTY
This is what we do every year, especially now that there are kids in the family. We love this bingo set and also purchased extra bingo counting chips because it’s easy to run out when more than 5 people are playing. Trust me, we used Chex Mix cereal one year, haha.
We get very into it and play for money and it’s a blast. The kids can participate if they are old enough and for those that aren’t, we have a kid table with color pages, playdough, and more.
CREATE YOUR OWN BALLOON DROP FOR THE KIDS AT HOME
Co-founder, Kacey, hosts a fun New Year’s Eve party for the kids and has her own balloon drop she creates. This is so fun for the kids and also is a great photo op!
PRINT OUT FREE COLORING PAGES
This is so easy and FREE! You can search for free printable coloring pages or pick up a coloring book from the dollar tree.
CUT UP YOUR OWN CONFETTI
Make your own confetti poppers for the kiddos! Instead of buying confetti, cut up your own using old newspapers, magazines, brown bags, old papers that are lying around. You can use scissors or fun-shaped hole punch cutters.
Want to make your own confetti poppers? We love this idea from Autumn B to create your own DIY confetti poppers at home.
